The Caltagirone Editore Group announces that Virman Cusenza leaves today, 6 July 2020, the management of the newspaper Il Messaggero. The direction will be assumed, from 8 July, by Massimo Martinelli, former deputy editor of the newspaper.
Martinelli, 58, from Rome, has always been in the editorial office of the newspaper where he held the role of head of the Judicial Chronicle first and subsequently that of head of the Chronicle of Rome, until his appointment as deputy director in 2016.
The publisher thanks Cusenza “for the work done with professionalism and commitment in recent years at the top of the newspaper and in the publishing group”. The publisher sends Martinelli a greeting and best wishes for good work. (askanews)
