COELMO at the Genoa International Boat Show 2026

The new DTL5000 arrives in Genoa alongside COELMO’s fixed-speed and variable-speed solutions.

Following its international presentation at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, the new COELMO DTL5000 arrives at the Genoa International Boat Show. From 1 to 6 October 2026, COELMO will be at Power Village – Stand YP21, displaying the new DTL5000 and its range of marine generators, including fixed-speed solutions and the variable-speed DMV10 and DMV15 models.

The new DTL5000

First presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the 50 kVA DTL5000 is one of the latest developments in COELMO’s marine range. The new model was designed with a clear objective: to reduce its footprint without compromising power. Compared with its previous configuration, the DTL5000 offers 24% less volume and 20% less weight, while maintaining an output of 50 kVA.

This is a particularly valuable advantage in the marine sector, where optimising technical spaces and reducing weight are increasingly important considerations in vessel design and outfitting.

Less space. Same power.

This sums up the philosophy behind the project: offering shipyards and marine professionals a more compact, lighter solution that is easier to integrate on board, while maintaining the required performance.

Fixed-speed and variable-speed generators for different onboard requirements

Alongside the new DTL5000, COELMO will present fixed-speed models from its standard range, including the DM320, DM600, DML2000 and DML970, together with the variable-speed DMV10 and DMV15 generators.

The two technologies demonstrate a range developed to meet different operating profiles and design requirements. Fixed-speed generators are an established solution for continuity of service, robustness and reliability. The DMV10 and DMV15 models introduce variable-speed technology, allowing engine speed to adapt to the vessel’s actual energy requirements. The solution was developed to deliver greater power in a smaller package.

COELMO’s experience in the marine sector

Since 1946, COELMO has designed and manufactured industrial and marine generating sets, putting its experience at the service of shipyards, designers, installers, professional operators and boat owners.

Compactness, reliability, onboard integration and technological development guide the marine range, with solutions designed to meet the changing needs of leisure and commercial boating.

The Genoa International Boat Show will offer an opportunity to see the new DTL5000 following its international debut in Cannes and explore COELMO’s range of onboard power-generation solutions.
